This is a delightful egg-shaped mother of pearl miniature thimble case housing a small silver thimble for a child. The hinged lid with a thumb-piece opening to reveal the original green velvet interior. The egg resting on an ormulu circular base. The silver thimble engraved with the words "Ever Dear". Thimble unmarked but tested as silver
