Description

This exquisite solid silver thimble bucket is hallmarked for Birmingham 1888 and was made by the renowned Laurence Emanuel. Silver thimble buckets are few and far between and this is a lovely example. It is fitted with a Victorian silver thimble dated Birmingham 1890. The cylindrical body embossed all over with foliate sprays. The sides with swivel handle. The interior lined with the original velvet. The base fully hallmarked

Date letter "g" for 1906.
