Description
This exquisite and unusual Victorian sliced-cut glass scent bottle was made by the renowned Charles May and is dated Birmingham 1898. The elegant salmon pink lozenge-shaped glass body sliced-cut with elaborate designs. The fully hallmarked screw-top silver lid with embossed floral decorations surrounding a vacant roundel. The neck with silver thread and the inner lid fitted with the original cork.Hallmarks:
CM for Charles May.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion passant.
Date letter "Y" for 1898.

Glass in very good condition.
No chips or cracks.
