This is a gorgeous trinket box originating from France and dating circa 1890. The brass bound hinged cranberry glass lid beautifully decorated with a gilt star motif and heightened with white enamel dots. The sides plain.Dimensions:

Good.
No damage to the glass.
Gilt decorations a bit rubbed at places, commensurate with age and use.
