Description
This is a very decorative large clear glass apothecary jar with original gilt label and green "tole peinte" cover. The gilt label with a black and red border with Latin inscription. The wide neck with a green litho painted tole showing signs of age with wear to the paint and oxidisation. The base with smooth pontil mark . It is a very large and impressive example ,measuring over 10 inches high. Very decorative. Shown in the last picture with matching jar.Dimensions:
