Description
This is an unusual rather striking Victorian silver lidded large scent bottle. Of baluster form, the pale blue mottled glass body mounted with a fully hallmarked screw-top silver lid. The lid embossed with foliate scrolls surrounding a vacant reserve. The neck with clear glass stopper.Hallmarks:
F.D for Frederick Davis
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant .
Date letter "y" for 1898.

Condition:
Reasonable.
Glass in very good condition.
Silver lid with a few dings.
Glass in the inner neck in good condition, no cracks.
