Description
This is a very elegant and excellent quality Art Deco silver tea strainer. It was made in Birmingham in 1926 by Hammond, Turner & Sons. The mesh like finely pierced circular bowl flanked by a pair of fretwork lug handles and resting on the original circular stand. The circular base raised on three ball feet and having a distinctive and stylish tripod stand.Hallmarks:

Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion passant.
Date letter "B" for 1926.
