This beautiful silver mounted turquoise guilloche enamel compact is dated Birmingham 1928. Of circular form with concentric decorations. The hinged cover opening to reveal a hallmarked gilt interior. The back plain.Hallmarks:
C&N for Crisford & Norris.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "D" for 1928.
Dimensions:
5.5cm diameter / 2.1 inches.
Condition:
Good.
Enamel in good condition, no loss but some surface wear commensurate with a ge and use..
Back with some ding.
Interior in good condition.
