Description

This good size and rather delightful Victorian silver mounted shoe pin cushion is dated Birmingham 1891. The plain silver casing modelled as a ladies' shoe and applied with a gorgeous ribbon buckle. Fitted with the original rich green velvet cushion. One side of the shoe fully hallmarked.
Hallmarks:
Maker's marks partially rubbed and unidentifiable.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "q" for 1890.

Condition:
Silver casing in very good condition, minor dings commensurate with age.
