Description
This delightful and rather rare silver and hardstone "trowel" bookmark is dated Birmingham 1908 and bears the marks of the renowned Crisford & Norris. The engraved silver ferrule inset with a banded agate handle. The agate handle a delicate and elegant colour. The blade fully hallmarked. it is a good useable size.Hallmarks:
C&N for Crisford & Norris
Birmingham Assay mark.
Date letter "i" for 1908.
Lion passant (Partially obstructed by handle)
