Description
This rare George V solid silver sewing compendium is dated London 1913 and bears the marks of Carrington & Co. Of plain cylindrical form housing a three division reel centred by a needle case and cover. The inner cover lined with velvet and fitted with an associated silver thimble. This is a cleverly designed and still very functional silver piece. These sewing compendium are scarcely seen in such good and complete order.Hallmarks:
