This delightful George III silver caddy spoon is dated Birmingham 1794. The shallow rectangular bowl finely bright-engraved with a prick-dot border, the handle with conforming decorations and engraved with a rather delightful crest. The back of the handle fully hallmarked
Hallmarks:
W.C for William Collings.
Duty Mark.
Lion Passant.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "s" for 1794.
Condition:
Very good.
No split or repairs.
Maker's marks very faint but still identifiable.
