Description
This gorgeous Georgian silver filigree needle book dates circa 1795. Both front and back covers in elaborate scrolling quill work, the front with a central shield bearing the initial "M". The interior green moire silk lined with wallet compartment, The loops fitted with the original bone stylus.Hallmarks:
Unmarked as was very often the case with such items but tested as silver.
