This gorgeous and rather unusual French Palais Royal blue opaline glass trinket box date circa 1860. These Grand Tour opaline objects are very desirable and collectable. The ormulu mounted lid surmounted by an eagle finial, very much in the Napoleon III style. The main body with beautiful bronze dore lattice work. Raised on three intricate ormulu bracket feet.Dimensions:
