This charming solid silver trinket box bears the mark of the sought-after silversmiths Saunders & Shepherd.and is dated Birmingham 1890. Of rectangular form, the domed cover and sides profusely embossed with foliate designs on a finely textured background. . The pull-off lid opening to reveal the original rich gilt interior. Both lid and base with decorative pinched borders.Hallmarks:
