Description
This delightful Victorian solid silver scent bottle is dated Birmingham 1894 and bears the marks of Charles May . Of cylindrical form, it is embossed with foliate decorations. The hinged lid opens to reveal a glass inner body fitted with a clear glass stopper. Fully hallmarked on the side and base.Hallmarks:
CM for Charles May.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion passant.
Date letter "u" for 1894.
