Description

This disitnctive Georgian silver mustard pot is dated London 1819 and bears the marks of Sarah & John Blake. Of traditional oval bellied form, the hinged cover with an unUsual finial . The back with a scroll handle. The shell thumb piece opening to reveal an interior fitted with a clear glass liner. Sold with a mustard spoon by the same makers but dated 1816

Mustard pot: Date letter "d" for 1819.
Mustard spoon: Date letter "a" for 1816.
Condition:
Good.
No dings or dents to the body.
Liner in good condition.
A recess cut out to accommodate the spoon.
Good hinge.
