This simple and elegant solid silver and mother of pearl letter opener is dated Sheffield 1912. The mother of pearl handle carved with the initials HS and mounted with a fully hallmarked ferrule and silver blade. It is a lovely example and combines elegance with practicality.Hallmarks:

Lion passant.
Date letter "u" for 1912.
