Description

This superb solid silver mustard pot is hallmarked for Birmingham 1902. The drum-shaped body with elaborate pierced decorations featuring birds in foliage. The domed hinged with a decorative shell thumb piece. The front with an oval reserve engraved with a decorative crest. The beaded base raised on three claw feet. Fitted with the original blue glass liner.
Hallmarked inner lid. Sold with a solid silver mustard spoon by William Atkins dated Sheffield 1929.

Lion Passant.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "c" for 1902.
Condition:
Very good
No dings or dents.
No loss to the pierced decorations.
Liner in perfect condition.
Good hinge.
