Description
This pretty 19th Century French glass trinket box jar is in the rarer amethyst colour. The brass bound hinged amethyst glass lid heightened with pretty enamel decorations depicting a bird amongst foliage in hues of blue, orange and white and heightened with gilt. The sides with scrolling decorations.Dimensions:
Diameter: 5cm / 1.7 inches.
Height: 3.5cm / 1.2 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
Strong hinge.
Lid snaps shut nicely.
