Description

This decorative George VI silver tea strainer was made in Birmingham 1944 and bears the marks of the renowned Thomas Bradbury. The pierced circular bowl, flanked by a pair of pierced fretwork handles . Fitted on the the original square-shaped stand or bowl. The fully hallmarked.base with conforming pierced decorations.
Hallmarks:
Fully marked on the side of the bowl and on the strainer.
T.B for Thomas Bradbury.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "U" for 1944.
