Description
This exquisite silver and cut glass scent bottle bears the hallmarks of Charles May, prolific scent bottle creator, and is dated Birmingham 1899. The vivid uranium glass barrel-shaped body sliced-cut in diamond and concentric patterns. The fully hallmarked hinged silver lid opening to reveal ten original uranium glass stopper.Hallmarks:
CM for Charles May
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "z" for 1899.
