Description

This exquisite silver and cut glass scent bottle bears the hallmarks of Charles May, prolific scent bottle creator, and is dated Birmingham 1899. The vivid uranium glass barrel-shaped body sliced-cut in diamond and concentric patterns. The fully hallmarked hinged silver lid opening to reveal ten original uranium glass stopper.

CM for Charles May
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "z" for 1899.

No dings or dents, no holes to the lid.
Inner glass neck in perfect condition.
