Description
This exquisite solid silver trinket box was made by Synyer & Beddoes and is dated Birmingham 1897. Of oval form, the cover and sides profusely embossed with foliate designs. The hinged lid with vacant reserve. Both lid and base with decorative pinched borders. The original rich gilt interior is in wonderful condition.Hallmarks:
S*B for Synyer & Beddoes.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "x" for 1897.
