Description

This is a beautiful French Art Nouveau clear glass apothecary jar with gilt edged enamelled label and red "tole peinte" cover.
The white label with French inscription "Rhubarbe Pulv:" meaning Compound powder of Rhubarb . The label with very decorative Art Nouveau gilt edging.
The neck with a red tole peinte lid. The base with smooth pontil mark.
Dimensions:
Height: 25cm / 10 inches.
Diameter: 9.5cm / 3.5 inches.
Condition:
Glass in very good condition.
Tole peinte cover with age related wear.
