Description
This exquisite Victorian silver combination vesta and sovereign case was made by William Neale and is dated Birmingham 1892. It is of traditional rounded rectangular form with foliate scroll decorations all over. The sovereign part with attached suspension ring and push-button mechanism opening to reveal a gilt interior with sprung platform and horseshoe surround. The sprung hinged vesta case with initialled medallion and striker to the base.Hallmarks:

Date letter "s" for 1892.
