Description
This delightful Edwadian silver aide memoire and visiting card case is dated Birmingham 1909 and was made by the prolific William Hayes. Of rounded rectangular form, the front exquisitely engraved to resemble a satchel. The back with conforming decorations. The interior lined with the original green leather and includes an ivory coloured notepad and a pencil.Hallmarks:
W.H for William Hayes.
Lion Passant.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "k" for 1909.

Condition:
Silver case in excellent condition with no dings or dents.
