Description
This delightful Victorian solid silver single sovereign case was made by the prolific Dennison company. Of circular form, both front and back profusely engraved with foliate scrolls. The front reserve vacant. The sprung hinged cover operated by a push button. Opens to reveal a spring loaded compartment.Suspension loop. Snaps shut beautifully.
All sprung mechanisms in good order.

Inner cover fully hallmarked.
Sovereign frames with date letter and Lion Passant.
