Description
This is a truly fabulous continental silver chain-mail cocktail bag bearing imports marks for London 1916. The fully hallmarked silver frame fitted a hallmarked silver belcher chain. The centre with a silver ball clasp.Both sides of the frame are separately hallmarked.

Maker's marks : M&U
925 silver fineness.
London import mark.
Date letter "a" for 1916.
