Description
This is an exquisite and unusual Victorian silver lidded turquoise glass scent bottle. It is dated Birmingham 1900 and was made by the Mousley Brothers, who specialised in scent bottles. The cylindrical glass body a beautiful rich turquoise colour. The screw-top solid silver lid finely engraved with foliate scrolls. The inner lid with original cork.Hallmarks:
MBROS for the Mousley Brothers.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Date letter "a" for 1900.
Lion passant.
