Description

This elegant silver tea strainer was made in Birmingham 1944 by the prolific E. J. Houlston. The pierced and shaped circular bowl flanked by a pair of lug handles and raised on three ball feet. Resting on the original shaped circular stand.
Hallmarks:
E.J.H for E. J. Houslton.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion passant.
Date letter "U" for 1944.
