Description
This stunning pair of Edwardian solid Silver Candlesticks are modelled on the early Georgian period, the reign of George I, circa 1720. Made in London 1908 by the illustrious Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, they are elegant , heavy gauged and of excellent quality. The spread hexagonal bases with sunken circular wells raising into a knopped hexagonal column.Original detachable sconces.
Loaded bases with replacement green felt.
Full hallmarks struck to the side of each base and struck to the sleeve of each capital.
A fine pair of candlesticks.

Lion Passant.
London Assay mark.
Date letters "n" for 1908.

No pin holes.
