Description

This unusual and rather tactile silver mounted small sliced-cut glass decanter is dated Birmingham 1928. Of mallet form, with a mushroom stopper and hallmarked silver neck and spout. Fitted with a label made by the iconic designers Hukin & Heath and dated London 1904. The base with smooth pontil mark.
Decanter Hallmarks:
Maker's marks partially erased.
Date letter "D" for 1928.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Label hallmarks:
JTH over JHM for Hukin & Heath (John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton)
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "i" for 1904.
Dimensions:
