Description

This elegant solid silver mustard pot was made by the prolific Joseph Rodgers & Sons and is hallmarked for Sheffield 1905. The drum-shaped body pierced with foliate scrolls. The domed hinged cover with a shell-shaped thumb piece.
Shaped scroll handle and spread circular base
Fitted with a Bristol blue glass liner and an associated silver mustard spoon dated Chester 1913.
The inner lid hallmarked.

JR for Joseph Rodgers & Sons
Lion Passant.
Sheffield Assay Mark.
Date letter "n" for 1905.
Condition:
Very good
No dings or dents.
No loss to the pierced decorations.
Liner in perfect condition.
Good hinge .
