Description
This elegant George V silver jewellery box is dated Birmingham 1924. Of oval form , the domed hinged cover with reeded engine-turned decorations surrounding a vacant circular reserve. The plain sides raised on four cabriole legs.The hinged lid opening to reveal a royal blue satin interior.
Black Morocco leather base.
Hallmarks:
Maker's marks partially erased and indistinct.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "z" for 1922.
Lion passant.

Condition:
Average to good.
Some ding to the cover and the sides.
The engine-turning decorations a little worn round the vacant round medallion.
