Description
This beautiful George IV silver snuff box was made by Thomas & William Simpson and is dated Birmingham 1824. Of conventional rectangular form, both front and back with an engine-turned background. The hinged cover with a raised foliate border. The sides with reeded decorations.Exquisite flush hinge.
Vacant cartouche to the front.
Pale gilt interior.

Date letter "A" for 1824.
