Description
This distinctive and rather fabulous Edwardian solid silver tea caddy was made by the renowned Barnard family and is dated London 1908. Of classic octagonal form, It has plain silver panels and a wavy border very much in the Arts & Craft manner. The hinged domed cover with an elegant thumbpiece.Raised on four stylised bracket feet, again very reminiscent of the Arts & Craft style.
Original rich gilt interior.
