Description
This unusual medium-sized silver mounted match striker is hallmarked for Chester 1897. The finely ribbed glass spherical body sliced-cut in sections with vertical bands. Mounted with a wide silver rim.Hallmarks:
Makers marks erased.
Date letter"O" for 1897
Chester Assay mark
Condition:
Glass in reasonable condition.
Silver rim with a few very minor dings.
Marks rather faint, which is reflected in the price.
