Description

This elegant Edwardian silver and mother of pearl bread fork is dated Sheffield 1905 and was made by John Sanderson. The carved mother of pearl handle mounted on a solid silver ferrule and fork. The fork engraved on both sides with foliate patterns.
Hallmarks:
JS for John Sanderson.
Sheffield Assay mark.
Lion passant.
Date letter "n" for 1905.
Dimensions:
Length: 18.5cm / 7.2 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
Engraved decorations and hallmarks are bright.
No splits or damage to the mother of pearl.
The ferrule is hallmarked as is the fork.
