Description
This delightful silver jewellery box was made in Birmingham in 1923 and retailed by the Northern Goldsmiths company . The domed circular cover prettily engraved with a ribbon-tied garland. The plain circular body raised on three fleur-de-lys capped cabriole legs.Gilt inner lid and original ruched green silk interior.
Black Morocco leather base.
Hallmarks:
Retailer's marks; Northern Goldsmiths Company.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "y" for 1923.

Cover free from dings and in very good smooth condition.
Strong hinge.
Clean original interior.
