This stylish silver lidded preserve jar is dated Sheffield 1917. The baluster glass body engraved with stylish sunburst decorations. The plain domed silver lid with ring handle. It comes with a matching a silver preserve spoon by the same maker, James Dixon & Sons and dated Sheffield 1912.

Date letter "z" for 1917 on lid..
Date letter "u" for 1912 on spoon.
