Description
This is an unusual Edwardian silver dual envelope stamp case. The cover engraved with ivy leaves. The front opening to reveal a plain interior fitted with two stamp compartments. The inner envelope lid separately hallmarked. The back with conforming decorations surrounding a vacant heart-shaped cartouche.Hallmarks:
A.E.J. for Albert Ernest Jenkins.
Chester assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "j" for 1909.
