Description
This exquisite silver pin cushion modelled as a flower basket was made circa 1800. These early pin cushions are quite scarce hence very desirable.The silver basket engraved with flowers and shells and fitted with a rope-twist articulated handle. The base with basket-weave decorations. The blue velvet cushion, later replaced, is most probably Victorian.

IT for Joseph Taylor, under the handle.
