Description

This is an exquisite and very collectable stamp case in the form of an envelope. It was made in Birmingham circa 1910. It is unusual being a double stampcase. The front cover finely engraved with foliate sprigs. The back with conforming decorations surrounding a vacant reserve.
Fitted with suspension loop.
Hallmarks:
Impressed: STERLING SILVER
Condition:
Good.
Minor ding at back.
Does not snap shut as inner clasp missing.
