Description
This very unusual Edwardian silver vesta case is of lobed rectangular form, resembling a cigar case. The fluted body profusely engraved with foliate decorations surrounding vacant cartouches. The sprung hinged cover opening to reveal a gilt interior.The base with textured striker.
Hallmarks:
J.G for Joseph Gloster.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "b" for 1903.
Dimensions:
5cm x 3cm / 2 inches x 1.2 inches.
Condition:

No dings or dents.
