Description
This unusual and delightful silver mounted cayenne pepper jar and matching spoon was made by the prolific Levi & Salaman and is dated Birmingham 1900 for the silver holder and Birmingham 1902 for the cayenne pepper spoon. The panelled clear glass body fitted with a hallmarked silver holder. The holder pierced with sinuous designs surrounding a vacant reserve and having a scroll handle. The neck fitted with a ball-ended cayenne pepper spoon.Hallmarks:
L&S for Levi and Salaman.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter: "a" and "c" for the holder and spoon respectively.

Height: 8cm / 3.2 inches.
Base Diameter: 3cm / 1 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
Glass in perfect condition.
Silver holder with no loss.
