Description

This exquisite Arts & Craft silver napkin ring was made by the prolific silversmith William Devenport. The very finely spot-hammered body giving the napkin ring background a matte appearance. Applied with sinuous decorations and raised stylised trees on a fine bark effect.
Hallmarks:
WD for William Devenport.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "C" for 1905.
Condition:
Excellent.
No dings. No dents. No inscriptions.
