Description

This delightful and unusual solid silver jewellery box was made in Birmingham in 1906. Of circular form, the domed hinged lid applied with a silver butterfly with mother of pearl wings. Raised on three unusual bracket feet modelled as leaves. Lead base.
Lined with the original blue satin interior.
Hallmarks:
Maker's marks erased.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "g" for 1906.
Condition:
Very good.
No dings or dents.
Sits evenly on flat surface.
Good interior.

Height: 4cm / 1.4 inches.
