Description
This fabulous pair of solid silver candlesticks are in the very desirable Corinthian column style. They were made by the excellent silversmiths Martin Hall & Co. They have unusual capitals engraved with stylised acanthus leaves, a very classical theme . Each square stepped foot decorated with an ovolo border.Reeded columns.
Original detachable sconces.
Loaded bases with replacement green felt.
Full hallmarks struck to the side of each base and struck to the sleeve of each capital.

Date letters "e" for 1897
Condition:
Very good
No dents but minor dIngs commensurate with age.
No pin holes.
Excellent set of marks.
