Description
This is a truly delightful Victorian silver sewing companion dating circa 1840 and presented in its original leather, satin and velvet case. The trio comprise of a silver tape measure with original pink silk tape, an engraved thimble and a double ended silver cased pin cushion.Unmarked as was often the case with Georgian and early Victorian small items but tested as silver.
Dimensions:
Each piece with a height of approx 2cm / 1 inch.
Case: 3cm x 6cm / 1 inch x 2.2 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
No damage to any of the pieces.
Box in very clean condition.
