Description
This stylish sterling silver cocktail purse was made in Birmingham in 1913 and bears the marks of Shepheard & Co, silversmiths and retailers, Regent Street, London. The front and back engraved with elegant engine-turned decorations. The front with a vacant roundel. The push button clasp opening to reveal the original tan leather interior. The sides fitted with a chain and suspension ring to allow a lady to hold her purse while dancing or holding her cocktail glass.Hallmarks:
